CSK Won the Toss and Chose to Bowl

Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and decided to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their Indian Premier League match. The decision was likely influenced by the good pitch conditions, which are expected to remain the same throughout the night.

Team Changes

CSK made a few changes to their team, with Mukesh Choudhary replacing the injured Khaleel Ahmed as the new-ball bowler. Matthew Short also made his way into the team, replacing Akeal Hosein. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni travelled with the team but will not be playing the game.

SRH’s Batting Lineup

Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking to put up a strong total, with Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, and Ishan Kishan forming a potent top-three. The team will be hoping to take advantage of the red-soil pitch, which is expected to offer good bounce and an average first-innings total of 198.

SRH have a strong list of Impact Player options, including Dilshan Madushanka, Harshal Patel, Liam Livingstone, R Smaran, and Harsh Dubey. CSK, on the other hand, have Ayush Mhatre, Prashant Veer, Kartik Sharma, Matt Henry, and Ramakrishna Ghosh as their Impact Player options.
