Ripon Mondol Credits Wife for His Cricket Journey

He wrote, “Back then, I hadn’t even started dreaming of becoming a cricketer. I didn’t really have a clear goal in life. We were a middle-class family, full of struggles and uncertainty. Then one day, she came into my life like the biggest blessing. Alhamdulillah, from that moment, my thoughts slowly started to change. I began to understand reality and started chasing my dreams.”

Ripon said that the belief in achieving something big came more from his wife than from himself. He added, “The belief that I could do something good, she had that more than I did. She came into my life when I was nothing, when I had nothing. Today, she is my life partner and the mother of my child.”

Expressing his gratitude, he continued, “Today is our wedding anniversary. On such a special day, I’m away from my family, that’s the life of a professional cricketer. She has never complained or shown any disappointment. She has loved me selflessly for years, stood by me in every tough moment, gave me strength, and taught me how to fight. Even today, she does the same. I’m not exaggerating. I truly feel lucky that Allah chose me to have her in my life. Please keep us in your prayers.”
