Jaiswal goes to the top of Orange Cap table, Ravi Bishnoi keeps the Purple Cap

Rajasthan Royals (RR) have zoomed to the top of the IPL 2026 points table, winning their third game in a row in a rain-reduced contest against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday in Guwahati. As the battle to sneak into and stay in the top four heats up, here’s a look at the most prolific performers in the season so far.

Orange Cap leaderboard

RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal smacked an unbeaten 77 off just 32 balls in the 11-overs-a-side contest against MI in Guwahati. His knock took him to 170 runs in the tournament in three innings – dismissed just once – and he now holds the Orange Cap.

His swashbuckling knock against MI took him past Sameer Rizvi’s tally by ten runs. The Delhi Capitals (DC) batter, who has made an impressive start to the season with two match-winning knocks, sits on 160 runs. He has also achieved the highest score of the season so far, when he scored 90 against MI in DC’s most recent encounter.

Six other batters have crossed the 100-run mark at this stage of the innings, with Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (RR) and Rohit Sharma (MI) rounding out the top five of the leaderboard.

Purple Cap leaderboard

Another RR player leads Purple Cap as well: Ravi Bishnoi zoomed ahead of the rest of the pack, earlier sitting on five wickets apiece, to gain a lead on the wicket-taking leaderboard. His 2 for 25 from two overs against MI took him to a tally of seven wickets in the tournament. This performance followed up from the 4 for 41 he picked up against Gujarat Titans (GT).

Four other bowlers are now tied for second place, taking five wickets each: Vijaykumar Vyshak of Punjab Kings (PBKS), Anshul Kamboj of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Nandre Burger (RR) and Jacob Duffy of Royal Challengers Bengaluru RCB).
