BCB Unveils Four-Day Youth Cricket League Fixtures
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the schedule for the red-ball youth cricket league played in whites. Four teams will take part in this four-day match competition. Each team will face the others once, and the side finishing at the top of the table will be crowned champions. According to a press release, the teams have been divided into four zones. Central Zone includes Dhaka and Dhaka Metro. East Zone is made up of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. North Zone consists of Rajshahi and Rangpur, while South Zone includes Barishal and Khulna.
Players from all four teams reported to the Cox’s Bazar International Stadium on March 28. Practice sessions were scheduled for March 29 at the academy ground.
The first round begins on March 30. South Zone will face Central Zone at the main venue, while North Zone take on East Zone at the academy ground. After the first round, players will rest on April 3 and return to training on April 4.
The second round starts on April 5. East Zone will play Central Zone at the main venue, and North Zone will meet South Zone at the academy ground.
Following the second round, players will have rest on April 9 and resume practice on April 10. The third round begins on April 11. South Zone will face East Zone at the main venue, while Central Zone will play North Zone at the academy ground.
After the league matches, the team at the top of the points table will be declared champions.
