The Cricket Australia (CA) has released the schedule for upcoming home series and confirmed the tours by both the Bangladesh men’s and women’s teams.
The Bangladesh men’s team will travel to Australia in August to play a two-match Test series. The first Test is set to begin on August 13 in Darwin. The second Test will start on August 22 in Mackay.
Bangladesh women’s team will tour Australia in October. The Tigresses are scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20Is. The ODI matches will be held on October 9, 11, and 14, while the T20I series will take place on October 18, 20, and 22.
All three ODIs will be played at Allan Border Field in Brisbane. The T20I matches will be hosted at North Sydney Oval in Sydney.
Australia’s women’s team toured Bangladesh in 2024, and after that series, Cricket Australia had promised to host the Tigresses in return. Now, that promise has turned into reality with the official schedule being announced.
Australia’s men’s team will also play three ODIs and five T20Is against England, along with a four-Test series against New Zealand. The women’s team will face New Zealand in three ODIs and three T20Is.
Meanwhile, to celebrate 150 years of Test cricket, a special day-night Test will be played on March 11, 2027 at Melbourne Cricket Ground between Australia and England.
