In a statement, the PCB said,

“The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the results of the disciplinary proceedings concerning Naseem Shah’s breaches of various clauses of his central contract and the PCB’s social media guidelines.”

The PCB had previously issued a show cause notice on March 27, 2026, detailing the violations and requesting a response from Naseem.

After reviewing his reply, a personal hearing took place on March 30, 2025, with the three-member Disciplinary Committee.

As a result, the 23-year-old pacer has been fined Rs20 million, even after he issued an unconditional apology and terminated his social media adviser, who has now been blacklisted by the cricket board from working with any other national players under its jurisdiction.

It’s important to note that Naseem Shah has already let go of his social media adviser, who will be prohibited from associating with any players governed by the PCB.
